Hands on class that takes you into the field to teach you how to use your camera professionally. This gathering is for anyone who uses a digital camera and wants to learn how to take better photos, although it is best suited for intermediate photographers who own a digital SLR camera and tripod and know how to use it. It will be a casual learning atmosphere, and as we hike trails you need to be in good physical condition. We will spend about an hour in the classroom for some training before we go into the field. This workshop is designed to give you time to practice and fine-tune your photography skills. You should already have a good basic understanding of how your camera works. We will be practicing custom white balancing, metering modes, depth of field, proper use of gray cards, exposure compensation, custom flash, aperture and shutter speeds. We will walk you through setting up the various functions on your digital camera. Bring a bag lunch and water. |
